You want to start using the Sococo5k application and want to know the basic installation requirements needed for Sococo5k to run properly. This article provides information about the supported browsers and operating systems, as well as the network and hardware requirements needed to run the app.

Supported Web Browsers |
Always use the latest version of Google Chrome. Sococo supports the current version and the previous major release of Google Chrome. Other browsers are not supported. |

Network Connection with Adequate Bandwidth |
At a minimum, Sococo5k requires a download speed of 5 Mbps and an upload speed of 2 Mbps. For more information, refer to Testing Network Speed. |

App Installation Reminders
- When using video and audio for the first time while using the web application, you need to allow Sococo5k to access your microphone and camera. The Sococo5k application prompts a dialog box right below the address bar for this purpose.
You may also manually change camera and microphone permissions to allow access. - Using Sococo5k on a virtual machine is not supported and is not a recommended configuration.
